One from a couple of days ago on the walk to the station at 6.30am.
Yesterday. Or it might have been the day before.
Anyway, loads of jellyfish have been washing up on the local beaches. Portugese Man o' Wars are in the news (because they're very painful or even fatal little stingy gits) like this one... scale wise the air sac that is the float and sail for the creature is around 20cm for this one, they can vary .
but the one yesterday was a Barrel Jellyfish which is a bit bigger, so I put my Size 10 next to it to to show the scale. I seem to remember from another place that putting your foot in a photograph was a sign of great photographic skill.
Taken last weekend on a bike ride, hope that counts!
