What is your favourite time of year to go walking?

I rather enjoy autumn; the colours, cooler air, the transition to winter slowly taking place amongst the trees, plants and wildlife.

How about you? What is your favourite walking season?

Spring to summer when everything is green, the paths are drying up and the wildlife seems more abundant. In particular I love seeing curlews in the Yorkshire Dales.

Both are good for me, don't like to go when it is too hot.

It has to be spring, that first sunny day of the year when it's warm enough to wear short sleeves has to be the best, it so lifts the spirits.
