The Leicestershire Round - in Bitesize Pieces

Here in Leicester we are circled by a 102 mile route, The Leicestershire Round. It was developed a few years ago as a project to link footpaths, bridalways and green roads to give one continuous route around the county.

@Lullabelle and I have set ourselves a target of walking the entire route in a series of circular walks up to about 10 miles each. So far we've done about a third of it (though it has stalled a little of late)
Should not such a route visit Melton Mowbray for pork pies?

That's intersting. I wonder how long it took them to put it together? 102 miles isn't exactly going to be a quick job to mark out and plan and signpost. Well done them.
