Must have been going around it, past it, gazing at it for more than 30 years but finally I walked up it.
It's a really good walk, easy bit of scrambling, long rocky ridge to the top which can be avoided and then you can go down via the abandoned slate mine or you can just walk off towards the Pen Y Gwryd, which we did and if you don't have two cars you can get the bus back to where you started.
I think we saw a total of about 7 other people all day, everyone was probably on Snowdon, as usual.
