Hanwag Boots

I bought a pair of Hanwag boots in January 2018 and used them for walking the dog on a daily basis. The sole of the boot was destroyed within 12 months Hanwag rejected a warranty claim because of excessive wear and tear. They should stipulate that their boots are for decoration and not serious wear.

I'm surprised at the Hanwag response. But their idea of fair wear and tear are obviously different to yours. I've gone through soles before and had the boots re soled, but usually after two years, and never with Hanwag. Were your boots designed for heavy use in the mountains or light use walking trails? A picture would have been good!
