Ever been involved in a rescue?

Have any of you been involved in an incident where you or someone in your party has had to be rescued whilst out on the hills? Or maybe you helped rescue someone else?

Became a pack mule whilst doing the Three National Peaks. Allowing those that were carrying someone to get a rest. Help sent for, the first party to inform the emergency services, with a second rucksack apiece going down with the four sent down.

Annoyed slightly that people passed, whilst this was taking place, and neither asked if help was needed nor informed the emergency services that help was needed.
